Intended use
This appliance is designed for the preparation of small amounts
of coffee for domestic use or for use in householdlike,
noncommercial environments. Householdlike environments
include, for example, use in staff areas in shops, offices,
agricultural and other small businesses, as well as use by guests
at bedandbreakfast establishments, small hotels and similar
residential facilities.
Children younger than 8 years may not operate the appliance.
This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and older
and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or who lack experience and / or knowledge if they are
supervised or have been given instruction in the safe use of the
appliance and have understood the dangers involved. Children
may not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
may be carried out by children of 8 years and older under
supervision. The appliance and its connection cable must be
kept away from children younger than 8 years of age.
For optimum results, fill the tank only with cool, fresh,
noncarbonated water each day.
Do not use chemically softened water.
Ambient conditions
Only use the appliance indoors at room temperature and up to
2000 m above sea level.
