4.8 Emptying the drip tray and coffee grounds container
After dispensing several beverages, the drip tray
and the coffee grounds
container
can become full. The projecting float
indicates the current
filling level of the drip tray.
After a specified number of beverage have been dispensed, the appliance
also shows that the drip tray and coffee grounds container are full.
Always empty the drip tray and coffee grounds container.

1. Pull the drip tray
forwards out of the appliance.
2. Remove the coffee grounds container
and empty it.
3. Empty the drip tray.
4. Insert the coffee grounds container.
5. Push the drip tray into the appliance up to the stop.
Information
If you empty the drip tray and the coffee grounds container while the appli-
ance is switched off, the appliance does not register this process. Therefore,
it is possible that you are requested to empty the containers although the
drip tray and the coffee grounds container are not yet full.
