Attention:
Always rotate the special pins (8) into their parked position for
transport, see illustration below. Otherwise there is danger of injury.

HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL LEVELLING
Open the battery compartment (2) and insert batteries according to the symbols.
Correct polarity must be observed. Release the transport restraint, put the ON/
OFF switch (4) into its right position («ON» ). Now the tilt function is active and the
indicator LED (11) will light up green if the device is set up correctly. The desired
laser lines can be selected with the selection button (5). The indicator LED (11)
will light up red if the device is tilted too much, such that the pendulum is out of its
selflevelling range. There will also be a warning sound and the lasers will blink.
The unit must then be placed on a surface which is closer to level. Refer to the
application examples in Figures A, B, C on page 4.
SLOPE MODE
Do not release the transport restraint, put the ON/OFF switch into its left position
(«OFF»). Now the tilt function is inactive! Select and switch on the laser with the
selection button (5). Now the indicator LED (11) will light up red and the device
can be placed on sloped or tilted surfaces. Refer to the application example in
Figure D on page 4.
Impotant
:
This mode cannot be used to perform horizontal or vertical levelling
because the laser lines are no longer automatically aligned.
