14.3  Safety equipment 

Safety switches prevent the machine from operating when the feeding  tube is not locked 
into position. The motor stops within seconds when the motor is turned off.

The rating plate with the connection and performance data can be founded on the bottom 
of the device

Operation and Handing 

This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to operating the device. 
Observe the following notices to avoid dangers and damages. 

Plug cord in and load the food chamber. Place a bowl in front of the device. 

You can adapt the angle of device with switch for tiltmode of the device. 

Please note 

►  Cut food so that it will easily fit into the feed tube. 
►  Stack food upright into the feed tube. 

Press ON/OFF button for 3 seconds to start the grating process. 
When you press ON/OFF button longer again you can stop the device. 
There are five speed levels, preset is level 3. Choose your desired speed level. 
Push down the food with the pusher. 

  Warning 

Personal and property damages can occur during commissioning of or handling the 
device! 

Observe the following safety notices to avoid such dangers: 

►  Never feed food by hand. Always use food pusher. 
►  Avoid contacting moving parts.  
►  Change the tilt angle of the device only when grating process has stopped and plug is 

pulled. 

►  Do not use the grater for frozen food. 

The processed food will be released from the front of the unit, directly into your bowl. 

  Warning 

Personal and property damages can occur during commissioning of or handling the 
device! 

Observe the following safety notices to avoid such dangers: 

►  The exterior of the drums are sharp. Store the drums, as you would sharp knives, out 

of the reach of children. 

►  The appliance is not intended for permanent use. Do not operate the appliance for 

more than 5 minutes without interuption.
