Please note
► Always pull the power plug out of the outlet when the
appliance is unattended, or when it is assembled,
disassembled or cleaned.
► Device is not intended to be operated by means of an
external timer or separate remote-control system.
12.3 Sources of danger
12.3.1 Danger of injury
Warning
Personal and property damages can occur during
commissioning of or handling the device!
► Observe the following safety notices to avoid such dangers:
► Drums are sharp. Handle them
carefully.
► Never feed food by hand. Always use food pusher.
► Avoid contacting moving parts.
► Keep loose clothing, long hair and power cord away from
moving parts.
► Make sure appliance is off and the motor and blades have
completely stopped when not in use, before putting on or
taking off parts or removing food chamber.
12.3.2 Dangers due to electrical power
Danger
Mortal danger due to electrical power!
Mortal danger exists when coming into contact with live wires or
subassemblies!
Observe the following safety notices to avoid dangers due to
electrical power:
► If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service department or a similarly qualified
person, in order to prevent any hazards. Do not leave the
appliance unattended during operation.
