HOW TO OPERATE THE FREEZER

Thermostat  setting

The  freezer  thermostat  automatically  regulates  the  insid e  temperature  of

th e  c o m p artm en t s.  B y  ro t atin g   th e  k n o b   fro m   p o sitio n   1   to   5 ,  c o ld er

temperatures  can  be  obtained.

Important  note: 

Do  not  try  to  rotate  knob  beyond  the  1  position.  It  will  stop

your  appliance  from  working.

Freezer thermostat setting:

1  - 2  :

  For  short-term  storage  of  food  in the  freezer,  you  can  set  the  knob  between

minimu m  and   m edium   p osition s.

3 - 4 : For long-term storage of food in the freezer, you can set knob  to the medium

p ositio n .

          5  :  For  freezing  fresh  food.  The  appliance  will  run  at  colder  temperatures.

Note; 

The  ambient  temperature,  temperature  of  freshly  stored  food  and  how  often  the

door  is  opened,  affects  the  temperature  in  the  refrigerator  and  freezer.  If  required,  change

the  temperature  setting.

Before  using  your  freezer

•

  W hen  using  your  freezer  for  the  first  time,  or  after  transportation,

keep  it  in  an  upright  position  for  at  least  3  hours  before  plugging
into  the  mains.  This  allows  efficient  operation  and  prevents
damage  to  the  compressor.

•

 Your  freezer    may  have  a  smell  when  it  is  operated  for  the  first

time.  This  is  normal  and  the  smell  will  fade  away  when  your  freezer    starts  to  cool.

Ice  tray

•  Fill  the  ice  tray  with  water  and  place  in  the  freezer  compartment.

  • After  the  water  has  completely  turned  into  ice,  you  can  twist  the  tray  as  shown

below  to  remove  the  ice  cubes.
