3. BEFORE STARTING
3.1 Know your Fhiaba
Congratulations for having purchased your new Fh-
iaba: from now on you can use our innovative con-
servation system, which will allow you to keep all of
your food in the best way possible.
This manual will answer most of your questions
about the product’s features. Should you require
further information, please.
3.2 Manufacturer’s liability
The manufacturer declines all liability for
damage to persons or property caused by:

use of the appliance other than that
specified;

failure to comply with the instructions in the
user manual;
>
tampering with any part of the appliance;
>
use of non-original spare parts.
3.3 Technical support
>
In the event of failure of the appliance, contact the
technical support and have the repair carried out by
qualified personnel only.

make sure you have the model and serial number
available on the identification plate.
>
Use original spare parts only.
>
Do not try to repair the appliance yourself or
without the assistance of a qualified technician: this
affects safety and may void the warranty.
>
Original spare parts remain available for 10 years
after the last production of the model.
>
The following spare parts are available only for
authorized repair technicians: electronic boards,
thermostats, temperature sensors, hinges, lamps,
door handles.

Important
Before calling take note of the serial
number of the appliance, shown on the
warranty certificate and on the serial
number plate located inside the refrig-
erator compartment on the side opposite
the door opening.
3.4 Technical data
Refrigerant type, storage volume and other tech-
nical data can to be found on the product plate.
Further information on all available models can
be found at https://www.fhiaba.com/energy-
label website (Europe only). This link refers to
the official page of the European EPREL prod-
uct database, the address of which has not been
published at the time of printing. Follow the
guidelines to find the relevant model. Models
can be identified according to the sign placed
before the product code bar (E-Nr.) on the prod-
uct plate. The model can also be found in the
first line of the Energy Label.
