7.3 Water filter for freezer column

Ice Maker

Freezer columns equipped with automatic ice-mak-
ers include an externally mounted water filter kit. 
The water filter manifold and waterline connections 
must be installed in conjunction with the fridge as 
the waterline connecting the back of the appliance 
to the filter kit must be in place before installing the 
unit.
The filter kit should be installed in an accessible   
location (such as an adjacent cabinet) to allow for 
the water filter cartridge to be changed annually. 

If you choose not to use the water filter (such as 
connecting the appliance to an already filtered 

water source) then it is suggested to also set the 
function Water Filter throught the icon        ,touch 
the icon reset e disable the warning to avoid 

receiving reminders to change the filter (that you 
are not using). 
For more details and how to access this  
function setting, follow instructions on page 17 of  
the included instruction manual: “Reset Filter”. 

The Water Filter makes available high-quality 
water for the production of ice cubes. It provides 
up to 3000 liters of water for a maximum time of 
12 months.

Filter Replacement

The filter is located inside the refrigerator  
compartment, above the top glass panel. Prior to 
changing the filter, switch off the Ice Maker by toch 
the icon        ice maker.
Open the top glass panel and carefully rotate the 
filter cartridge for a quarter rotation in a  
counter clockwise direction until it detaches from 
its housing. It is normal for a small quantity of 
water to come out. Remove the cap of the new car-
tridge and insert it into the housing by gently rotat-
ing it for a quarter rotation in a clockwise direction 
until it locks into place. 
Then enter the Menu and set la funzione "manual 
Clean" throught the icon        . At the end of the 
cleaning cycle remove the water from the ice tray 
and wipe it dry.
