the water reservoir.

4  Re-insert the water reservoir until it snaps 

into place.

5  Plug into an electrical outlet. The power 

control light lights up. Let the appliance heat 
up on the «     »-setting. Ready for steaming 
after 2 minutes.

After use

Always empty the water reservoir.

Steam function

The steam function can be used with all 
attachments. To add steam to a streak of hair 
press the top of the water reservoir (you will 
hear a click). Steam will be released from the 
openings of the tong, giving the hair additional 
heat and just the required amount of natural 
moisture for a longer lasting style.

Use of the appliance in dry hair with steam

6  Put on the wanted attachment.
7  Take a streak and wind it around the brush. 

Activate the steam function by pushing the 
top of the water reservoir for about 5 
seconds while on the «     »-setting  and  style 
the streak on setting «1» or «2» for about 15 
seconds.

 8  For long lasting results and a better elasticity 

activate the cold shot by pulling and holding 
the switch ring about 5 seconds. Remove 
brush carefully from the curl.

Use of the appliance in damp hair

9   Pre-dry the hair on setting «3» with the volu-

mizer attachment. Continue with volumizer 
on setting «1», «2» or replace the volumizer 
attachment with one of the brushes. 

10  To change attachments press the release 

button (b). 

(As in step 8: For long lasting results and a 
better elasticity activate the cold shot by 
pulling and holding the switch ring for about 
5 seconds. Slowly remove brush from the 
streak.) 

Cleaning

11  After use unplug the appliance. Clean the 

attachments with a damp cloth and the 
motor part with a dry cloth. Remove dust 
from the filter with your finger. In case of 
intensive dust remove the filter and clean 
under water.

Braun Service Centre or at appropriate 
collection points provided in your

workmanship, free of charge either by repairing 
or replacing the complete appliance at our 
discretion.
This guarantee extends to every country where 
this appliance is supplied by Braun or its 
appointed distributor.
This guarantee does not cover: damage due to 
improper use, normal wear or use as well as 
defects that have a negligible effect on the value 
or operation of the appliance. The guarantee 
becomes void if repairs are undertaken by 
unauthorised persons and if original Braun parts 
are not used.

hand in or send the complete appliance with 
your sales receipt to an authorised Braun 
Customer Service Centre (address information
