The recording head has overheated. Unplug the machine and wait 30 minutes
for it to cool.

The recording paper is jammed in the printer.

Unplug the power cord.

Open the recording paper cover and remove any paper.

Push the OPEN button to open the top cover.

Pull the jammed paper gently from the recording paper feeder toward the
back of the machine. If the paper remains jammed, then pull it toward the
front of the machine.

Close the cover.

Reset the recording paper.
