2. Remove the foil by releasing the foil locks
from the foil holder as shown.
3. Carefully insert the new foil, ensuring that the
back of the foil face inwards. Gently push the foil
into position so that the foil locks into place.
4. Attach the foil holder.

REPLACING THE CUTTER

1 Remove the cutter.
2. Attach a new cutter.

BATTERY REMOVA L

# The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.
# The battery is to be disposed of safely.
# The appliance must be disconnected from the supply when removing the bat#
tery.
In accordance with current recycling legislation, do not dispose of the battery
contained in this shaver with normal household waste. When recharging can no
longer be effected, please dispose in the method advised by your local area
council.
The following procedures should be followed for battery removal.
1. Set the slide switch to "1" and discharge the Ni#Cd battery until this shaver
stops operating.
# Don't connect the charger.
2. Remove the shaver head and cutter.
3. Remove the front panel with a flat blade screwdriver.
With the switch '"0#CHARGE", insert the flat blade screwdriver into the upper
end of the switch, and lift up and remove the front panel.
4. Remove the two screws with a screwdriver, and take out the head.
5. Remove the two screws from the bottom case with screwdriver, and take out
the inner unit.
6. Remove the Ni#Cd battery and cut the lead wire at the jointed position to the
terminals.
# Pay attention not to short#circuit the removed Ni#Cd battery by contacting the
positive and negative.
