6. Initial use
Inserting the batteries
Before using the device for the first time, you must
first insert the supplied battery into the device. With
one battery (1.5 V AA battery), the device has a
battery life of approx. 45 minutes.
To insert the battery, proceed as follows:
1. Turn the battery compartment lid
slightly to the left so that the two
arrows are aligned. You can now
remove the battery compartment
lid from the device.
2. Insert one AA (1.5 V) battery into
the battery compartment. Make
sure that the battery is inserted the
right way round (+ / -), as shown in
the battery compartment.
3. Place the battery compartment lid
with the arrows aligned and turn
it slightly to the right until it clicks
into place.

Removing nose/ear hair
WARNING
Do not use the device if the miniature blade is bent
or damaged.
1. Take the protective cap off the miniature blade.
2. Slide the ON/OFF switch up to switch on the
device.
3. Bring the tip of the miniature blade slowly and
carefully to the front section of the nostril or ear.
4. Remove the nose or ear hair carefully, using
small, circular motions.
5. When you are finished with the application, slide
the ON/OFF switch down to switch off the
device.
6. Place the protective cap onto the miniature blade.
