Energy saving advice
To obtain the best performance from your
appliance, limit the number of bends and
length of the duct as much as possible.
2.3 - FITTING THE HOOD
It takes 2 people to fit and fasten the
hood.
Do not remove the cables before the
hood is fully installed.
The minimum distance between the coo-
king surface and the lowest part of the
hood is 65cm. If the instructions for a hob
installed below the hood specify a dis-
tance greater than 65 cm, then that dis-
tance must be applied.
2.3.1 Fitting the ceiling support
- Using a plumb line, identify the centre of
the hob in relation to the ceiling support.
- The notch of the ceiling support (A) must
be facing the product.
- Fix the ceiling support with the 4 screws
and plugs provided (D/E).
2.3.2 Evacuation mode
- If your hob is in recycling mode, fix the de-
flector to the ceiling support with the 2
screws provided (M).
- Connect the duct to the deflector (recycle
mode), or inside an external duct on the
ceiling (evacuation mode).
2.3.3 Installing the duct support
- Once the duct support (C) has been cor-
rectly slotted in, insert the 4 screws (N) to
support the hood.
- Connect the duct to the deflector (recycle
mode), or inside an external duct on the
ceiling (evacuation mode).
2.3.4 Adapter
- For a 125 mm diameter duct, use the
adapter supplied (F).
- Slot the end of the duct onto the engine
output (recycle mode) or the check valve
(evacuation mode).
2.3.5 Installing / Fitting the body of the
hood
- Position your ducts on the product (H).
- Take the hood, now fitted with the ducts
- Place it under the duct support
- Press the upper part (B) to insert the hood
into the duct support
- The hood is held in place from the first
notch(1st click).
- You can now adjust the height of your ap-
pliance, by pushing it towards the ceiling
(at least 65 cm above your hob).
2.3.6 Clamping the duct
- At the required height,
clamp the product
in place with the 4 screws provided
(N).
2.3.7 Fastening the duct
- Lift up the internal duct and screw the 4
screws (M) onto the ceiling support.
