Replacing the charcoal filter

The charcoal filter must be replaced at least ever y
three months during normal fan use

Cleaning the grease filters

Clean the grease filter in a dishwasher

If you clean the grease filter in a dishwasher:
load only the grease filter and no other items
as food par ticles from dir ty dishes can fasten
in the filter.

1.  Open the hatch to the

ex tractor hood by lif ting the
hatch (the same principle
applies to ceiling-suspended
ex tractor fans). For models
with automatic hatch ope-
ning: star t the ex tractor fan
(the hatch opens).

2. Open the locking mecha-

nism on the grease filter.

3. Clean the filter in a solu-

tion of water and neutral
cleaning liquid. Leave
the filter to soak in the
solution for a while. Rinse
thoroughly with hot water

and leave the filter to dr y
(with the openings face
down so the water can
drain)..

4. Replace the filter.

General cleaning

Regular maintenance is required to ensure that
the cooker hood functions properly. This is
especially true of the grease and charcoal filters.

Clean the fan and other sur faces of the cooker
hood regularly with a cloth dipped in denatured
alcohol or a non-abrasive liquid cleaner.

The charcoal filter cleans the circulating air in
the room. Such filters cannot be cleaned or re-
cycled and must be replaced at least ever y four
months. The speed at which the charcoal filter
becomes saturated depends on how of ten the
fan is used, the type of food that is cooked and
how of ten the grease filter is cleaned.
