Correct disposal will ensure environmental
protection and prevent any potentially harmful
impacts on people and the environment.
Adhere to the relevant legal requirements when disposing of
the appliance.
Information on the disposal of electrical and electronic
appliances in the European Union:
Within the European Union, national regulations are
specified for the disposal of electrical appliances
based on EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equip-
ment Directive 2012/19/EU ( WEEE). In accordance
with this, the appliance can no longer be disposed of
with the local or domestic waste. The appliance will
be accepted free of charge by local collection points
or recycling centres. The packaging for this product is
made from recyclable materials. Dispose of this in an
environmentally friendly manner by recycling it.

Warning! Injuries and material damage due to
incorrect handling.

Switch off the hair straightener before cleaning it
or performing any maintenance. Disconnect the
hair straightener from the power supply.

Allow the hair straightener to cool down
completely.

Problem elimination
Hair straightener does not heat up.
Cause: Defective power supply.

Make sure that contact between the mains and the socket
is faultless. Check the mains cable for possible damage.

to repair the appliance yourself!
Operation
Tips for successful styling
1. Wash and rinse the hair well.
2. Dry the hair.
3. Brush or comb the hair.
4. Section off individual strands of hair.
5. At the hairline, place a section of hair between the heat-
ing plates.
6. Keep the hair straightener pressed together and slowly pull
it down the section of hair and away from the head.

Do not leave the sections of hair in the hair
straightener for more than a few seconds, other-
wise this could damage the hair.

Only increase temperature gradually.
7. Open the hair straightener and allow the section of hair
to slip out.
8. Repeat this process until the desired result has been
achieved.
