Troubleshooting
Take steps described below to solve simple problems before contacting customer
service.
Immediately turn off the device and disconnect the power adapter if the device is not
working properly. Never try to repair the unit without authorized professionals for it
may damage the unit.
Users can't turn on the unit
Charge the battery completely. On first use, we recommend that you charge the battery
for at least 1.5 hours via your car adapter or at least 3 hours via your PC or laptop's USB
port.
Can't take a photo or record a video
Make sure the memory card is installed. Use a memory card of at least class 10. Check
that there is free space on the memory card.
Can't see images or video recordings?
Try viewing your recorded files on a computer. If you can't see your photos and videos
on a computer either, it means they have been damaged and you will have to delete
them.
A "File error" message appears when you try to view a photo or video.
Delete the file: the photo or video you are trying to view was damaged during the
recording process. If none of the files you have recorded can be viewed, format the SD
card.
Device automatically stops recording video
Reset to factory settings. Also, check that the memory card is suitable for your device
(check the memory card's class, speed, and capacity).
MOV format video fails to play back on computer, sound and video are out of sync,
or the playback consists of only sound or only video
The likeliest cause is that you don't have the necessary codecs installed on your PC.
Install the required codecs, or get VLC player.
Obtained image is blurry
Check your camera lens is clean. If the lens is dirty, clean it. Make sure the video
resolution (in settings) is set to maximum.
Device does not respond to controls
Perform a reset by pressing the RESET button, or disconnect from the power source and
wait for the device to switch off. Switch on again (without the memory card).
