10) JET CHANGE
You can convert the burners for operation with
various type of gas by installing jets appropriate for
the gas available. For this, it is necessary to remove
burner heads, unscrew the jet using a spanner
wrench (see Fig. 13-13/A) and replace it with the jet
corresponding to the gas available.
It is recommended to tighten the jet securely.
After
changing the jets, a technician must perform
burner adjustment as described in paragraph 9,
install lead seals on available adjustment or pre-
adjustment devices, and prepare a new appliance
label to replace the old label, corresponding to
the new setting of appliance gas supply. This
label must be stored in the bag for replaceable
jets.
The bag for storing jets and labels is supplied
with the appliance. You can also get it from an
authorized technical assistance center.
For installer’s convenience, a table is provided below
specifying burner power and heat capacity, jet
diameters and pressures generated by certain
gases.
