and fasten the cover with the Velcro strips (Fig. 22).

Note: If you use the heat-resistant soleplate cover, you do not have to let the 

iron cool down irst. If you want to store the iron without the soleplate cover, 

let it cool down irst.

Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste 

at the end of its life, but hand it in at an oficial collection point for 

recycling. By doing this,  you help to preser ve the 

environment (Fig. 23).
