IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed
including the following:
1. Read all instructions before using the Juice Extractor / Citrus Juicer.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put unit in water or other liq-
uid.
3. Close supervision is necessary when unit is used by or near children.
4. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts and
before
cleaning.
5. Never touch moving parts to prevent injury to user.
6. When using Juice Extractor, NEVER FEED FOOD BY HAND. Always use Food
Plunger.
7. Grater of Juice Extractor is shape. Handle very carefully.
8. Keep hands, hair, clothing and other utensils away from Feeding Funnel during
operation to prevent injury and / or damage to the Juice Extractor / Citrus
Juicer.
9. To dislodge food jammed in the Funnel when using Juice Extractor, use the
Plunger supplied with the unit. If food becomes jammed and cannot be dis-
lodged by only using the Plunger, turn the unit off, unplug from outlet and dis-
assemble unit to remove food.
10. Do not operate appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliances to
the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or electrical or
mechanical adjustment.
11. Do not unfasten Securing Clamp when Juice Extractor / Citrus Juicer is in
operation.
12. Make sure the motor has stopped completely and the power supply plug is
removed from outlet before disassembling.
13. Ensure unit is completely assembled before using. Do not operate the unit
without Container Cover, Grater / Filter Basket, Pulp Container, Securing
Clamps and Juice Container.
14. Using attachments not recommended or sold by manufacturer may cause fire,
electric shock or injury.
15. Do not use the unit outdoors.
16. Do not let cord hang over edge of table, bench or counter. Also do not let cord
touch hot surfaces, including the stove.
