 Remove  the  SAFBAG  dust  bag  module

  from  the 

vacuum cleaner chamber.

 Grab  the  dust  bag  cover,  gently  bend  it  towards  the 

inside and remove the whole dust bag upwards.

 Insert  the plate  of the new dust  bag in  the  tracks  of the 

SAFBAG  dust  bag  module

  and  slide  it  until  stop.  The 

direction for inserting the dust bag is indicated by the arrow 

on the bag.

 Slide  the  SAFBAG  dust  bag  module  together  with  the 

installed bag in the tracks located on the side of the vacuum 

cleaner  chamber.  Close  the  cover  by  pressing  it  until  you 

hear  a  characteristic  click  –  pay  attention  not  to  trap  the 

dust bag.

ATTENTION! Do not vacuum without the SAFBAG dust 

bag module installed in the appliance. The lack of the 

SAFBAG  dust  bag  module  prevents  from  locking  the 

upper cover of the appliance.

ZELMER vacuum cleaners are equipped with SAFBAG dust 

bags in the amount indicated in the table. It is recommended 

to replace the dust bag if:

a) the dust bag full indicator lights up,

b) the vacuum cleaner operates poorly,

c) the dust bag is full.

Filter disassembly

Before  changing  the  ilters  make  sure  that  the  vacuum 

cleaner  is  switched  off  and  unplugged  from  the  mains 

supply.

HEPA OUTLET FILTER

The vacuum cleaners  are equipped with an H11 outlet ilter 

HEPA  (High  Eficiency  Particulate Air).  The  HEPA  ilter  has 

been  designed  to  maximize  its  iltration  capability  through 

special  ibers,  which  are  able  to  retain  almost  all  dust 

particles.  The  H11  class  determines  the  permeability  of 

a ilter. The HEPA H11 ilter retains 95,5% of particles of 0.3 

micron.

 To replace the HEPA ilter lift the vacuum cleaner handle 

and open the accessory compartment.

 Grab the ilter cover by the fastening, irmly pull with the 

thumb and lift it upwards

 Remove  the  HEPA  ilter  case  and  replace  it  with  a  new 

one.  The  HEPA  ilter  ensures  an  effective  operation  of  the 

vacuum cleaner for about 1 year.

 Insert the cover so that the two protrusions in the lower 

part of the cover are inserted in the openings of the vacuum 

cleaner body, press the ilter cover so that the rear fastenings 

snap shot on the body.

INLET FILTER

 Release  the  upper  cover  fastening

  and  open  the 

cover.

 Remove  the  SAFBAG  dust  bag  module

  from  the 

vacuum cleaner chamber.

 Slide  the  inlet  ilter  casing  with  the  installed  inlet  ilter 

from  the  tracks  on  the  back  side  of  the  vacuum  cleaner 

chamber.

 Remove the inlet ilter

 from the inlet ilter casing.

 Place the new ilter in the inlet ilter casing

 with the 

material side directed towards the inside of the casing.

 Slide the inlet ilter casing

 together with the ilter in 

the tracks until stop to the previous position.

ATTENTION! Always replace a damaged inlet ilter (16) 

with a brand new, original one.

 Insert  the  SAFBAG  dust  bag  module  to  the  vacuum 

cleaner chamber.

 Close  the  cover  by  pressing  it  until  you  hear 

a characteristic click – pay attention not to trap the dust bag.

Special accessories

The following special accessories may be purchased in retail 

outlets:

Zelmer turbobrush (22)

May be used with all types of ZELMER vacuum cleaners. Is 

used for an effective vacuuming of carpets and itted carpets. 

While using the turbobrush follow the instruction manual.
The  use  of  the  turbobrush  decidedly  increases  the 

effectiveness  of  removing  ibrous  dirt  such  as:  animal  hair, 

hair,  threads  etc.  It  is  practically  useful  in  households  with 

pets  (cats,  dogs),  where  removing  the  animal  hair  from  the 

carpets and loorings is very onerous.

End of operation cleaning and  
maintenance

 Switch  off  the  vacuum  cleaner  by  pressing  the  “on/off” 

button

 Unplug the appliance.

 Wind  the  cord  by  pressing  the  cord  rewind  button

While doing this hold the cord to make sure it is not tangled 

and the plug does not hit the vacuum cleaner housing.

 Disconnect the telescopic tube from the nozzle or brush.

 Disconnect the telescopic tube from the hose.

 Press  the  two  side  buttons  on  the  end  of  the  hose  and 

remove  the  hose  end  from  the  inlet  opening  of  the  vacuum 

cleaner.

 The vacuum cleaner may be stored vertically or horizontally. 

In order to do so, insert the fastening hook of the combination 

brush  to  the  combination  brush  fastener.  The  hose  may  be 

attached  to  the  vacuum  cleaner,  however  you  have  to  make 

sure that it is not excessively bent during storing.

 If necessary wipe the housing and the dust bag container 

with a damp cloth (it may be soaked with dishwashing liquid) 

and dry it or wipe until dry.
Do not use abrasive detergents or solvents.
