EMPTYING THE CLEAR DUST CUP 

Empty  as  soon  as  the  dirt  reaches  the 

level  of  the  MAX  mark,  do  not  overfill. 

Switch 

‘OFF’ 

and 

unplug 

before 

emptying the dust cup. 

To  remove  the  cyclone  and  clear  dust 

cup  unit,  push  the  release button  to  the 

end of the carrying handle, as shown. 

Remove the cyclone and clear dust cup. 

To release the dirt, push the slip release 

button. 

To  minimize  dust/allergen  contact  when 

emptying,  encase  the  clear  dust  cup 

tightly in a plastic bag and empty. 

Remove the clear dust cup carefully. 

Seal the bag tightly, dispose as normal. 

Close the clear dust cup base so it clicks 

into place and is secure. 

Place  the  clear  dust  cup  and  cyclone 

unit  into  position  on  the  front  of  the 

main  body  of  the  appliance.  The  recess 

in the base of the clear dust cup must fit 

onto the lug on the locator bracket. 

Push  the  carrying  handle  down  so  it 

clicks  into  place  on  the  top  of  the  clear 

dust  cup  and  cyclone  unit.  Ensure  it  is 

secure. 

CLEANING THE CLEAR DUST CUP 

Remove  the  cyclone  and  dust  cup,  and 

then open the dust cup base. 

To  separate  the  cyclone  unit  from  the 

clear  dust  cup,  push  the  button  on  the 

clear  dust  cup  body  until  the  two  parts 

are separated. 

Clean the clear dust cup with cold water 

only. 

Do  not  use  detergents,  polishes  or  air 

fresheners to clean the clear bin. 

Do  not  put  clear  dust  cup  in  a 

dishwasher. 

Do  not  immerse  the  whole  cyclone  in 

water or pour water into it. 

Ensure  the  clear  dust  cup  is  completely 

dry before replacing. 

To replace, first  close  the  clear dust cup 

base so it clicks into place and is secure. 

Fit  the  clear  dust  cup on  to  the  cyclone. 

To secure it, first fit the slot on the front 

rim of the clear dust cup onto the lug on 

the  front  of  the  cyclone;  then  push  the 

rear  of  the  clear  dust  cup  into  place  so 

the  release  button  engages  and  clicks 

into place. 

Fit  the  cyclone  and  clear  dust  cup  unit 

onto  the  appliance  (see  ‘Emptying  the 

clear dust cup’ above). 

WASHING THE FILTERS 

Your  appliance  has  two  lifetime 

washable filters. 

Check  and  wash  the  filters  regularly 

according  to  instructions  to  maintain 

performance.  

Switch ‘OFF’ and unplug before checking 

or removing the filters. 

The  filters  may  require  more  frequent 

washing if vacuuming fine dust. 

Wash the filters with cold water only. Do 

not use detergents. 

Do  not  put  the  filers  in  a  dishwasher, 

washing  machine,  tumble  dryer,  oven, 

and microwave or near a naked flame. 

Filter A 

To  access  filter  A,  first  remove  the  clear 

dust  cup  and  cyclone  unit  (see 

‘Emptying  the  clear  dust  cup’  above). 

Push  the  button  on  the  clear  dust  cup 

body  until  the  two  parts  are  separated. 

Turn  the  filter  then  lift  out  the  filter  or 

still  take  the  filter  with  its  head 

together. 

Filter A should be rinsed and tapped out 

until  the  water  runs  clean,  then  tapped
