 Place the dust bucket back into the appliance and put the lid with the air filter back onto the 

dust bucket (Fig. 17).

 Close the cover (Fig. 18).

 To connect the hose, push it firmly into the appliance (‘click’) (Fig. 2).

 Pull the cord out of the appliance and put the mains plug in the wall socket.

 Press the on/off button on top of the appliance to switch on the appliance (Fig. 19).

 If you want to pause for a moment, insert the ridge on the nozzle into the parking slot to 

park the tube in a convenient position (Fig. 20).

Cleaning and maintenance 

Always unplug the appliance before you clean or replace the filters.

Dust bucket and AquaWeb

Clean the dust bucket and AquaWeb after ever y vacuuming session.

 Switch off and unplug the appliance (Fig. 19).

 Press the release button (1) to remove the hose (2) (Fig. 3).

 Open the cover (Fig. 13).

 4 

 Grab the handle of the air filter and lift the lid off the dust bucket (Fig. 14).

  5 

 Put the handle of the dust bucket in upright position (1). Lift the dust bucket out of the 

appliance (2) (Fig. 15).

 6 

 Empty the dust bucket into the sink (Fig. 21).

Tip: You can use the AquaWeb as a drainer.

 Remove the AquaWeb from the dust bucket and clean it under the tap (Fig. 22).

 8 

 Empty, clean and dry the dust bucket (Fig. 23).

  9 

 Dry the AquaWeb with a clean cloth or let it dry on the air before you put it back into the 

dust bucket (Fig. 24).

 Place the dust bucket back into the appliance and put the lid with the air filter back onto the 

dust bucket (Fig. 17).

 11 

 Close the cover (Fig. 18).

Washable Ultra Clean Air HEPA 13 exhaust filter

Clean the washable Ultra Clean Air HEPA 13 filter ever y 6 months. The filter can be cleaned  

4 times. After these 4 times, the filter has to be replaced. Replace the washable Ultra Clean Air 

HEPA 13 filter with a Philips filter of the correct type (see chapter ‘Ordering accessories’).

 Switch off and unplug the appliance (Fig. 19).

 2 

 Remove the HEPA exhaust filter grille and remove the washable Ultra Clean Air HEPA 13 

exhaust filter from the appliance (Fig. 25).

Note: Do not remove the silencer behind the washable Ultra Clean Air HEPA 13 exhaust filter. You do not 

have to clean this part.
