Problem

Solution

Check if the filter unit is clogged. If it is clogged, 

remove the filter unit and clean the inner and 

outer filter (see chapter ‘Cleaning and 

maintenance’).

Dust escapes from 

the vacuum 

cleaner.

Check if the dust compar tment is full. If it is full, 

empty it (see chapter ‘Cleaning and maintenance’).

Make sure that the filter unit is placed properly in 

the dust compar tment (see chapter ‘Cleaning and 

maintenance’).
Make sure that the dust compar tment is attached 

properly to the appliance (see chapter ‘Cleaning 

and maintenance’).

The vacuum 

cleaner does not 

work properly 

when the floor 

nozzle (FC6132), 

the hose (FC6130), 

the brush tool or 

the crevice tool is 

attached.

Check if the floor nozzle, the hose, the brush tool 

or the crevice tool is blocked. If this is the case, 

remove the obstruction.

Check if the dust compar tment is full. If it is full, 

empty it (see chapter ‘Cleaning and maintenance’).
Check if the filter unit is clogged. If it is clogged, 

remove the filter unit and clean the inner and 

outer filter (see chapter ‘Cleaning and 

maintenance’).
