Restoring the original functions of your remote control 

Follow the instructions below to rever t the SRU 4002 back to the factor y default settings:

Keep keys 

E

(Aspect ratio) and A/V 

pressed simultaneously 

for 3 seconds

until the LED flashes twice (red) and then switches off.

The SRU 4002 is now rever ted back to the state it was when you first took
it out of the packaging.

The device you want to operate does not respond when you press a key.

Replace the old batteries with two new AAA type batteries.

Point the SRU 4002 at the device and make sure that there are no obstructions between the SRU 4002 and
the device.

Make sure the function you wish to operate is available on the device.

The SRU 4002 does not respond properly to commands.

– 

The SRU 4002 memor y is full. Revert the SRU 4002 back to the factor y default settings in order to create
memor y space. Refer to ‘Restoring the original functions of your remote control’.

– 

The SRU 4002 stopped the learning / programming process after 60 seconds for no IR signals were received.
Check if the original remote control is working properly.

– 

Tr y setting the SRU 4002 again. If the SRU 4002 still does not respond, call our helpline.

The TV volume reacts too slow.

– 

The SRU 4002 has not been set up yet. For this, follow the instructions under ‘Setting the remote control’.
