OPERATING MANUAL
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Important safety procedures. Read carefully and use in future.
•
Improper operation may result in device failure and a personal injury.
•
Before initial switching on check the compliance of technical specifications on the device with the parameters of mains.
•
WARNING! Power cable plug has a wire and a ground pin. The device to be connected only to the corresponding grounded
sockets.
•
Use only at home in accordance with the given instruction manual. The device is not intended for industrial use.
•
Do not use outdoors.
•
Always disconnect from mains when cleaning or not using.
•
The device is not intended for use by the physically, sensually or mentally impaired persons, including children, or in the
absence of experience or knowledge, if they are not under control or not instructed by the responsible person.
•
Do not repair the device by yourself. If a fault is detected, it is recommended to contact the service center.
•
Children must be controlled to avoid the contact with the device.
•
Do not leave the device unattended.
•
Do not use accessories out of supply.
•
If power cable was damaged, it has to be replaced by a manufacturer or an authorized service center or corresponding
trained personnel.
•
Do not plunge the device and power cable into the water or any liquid. If this is so, it's required to disconnect the device from
mains and check its operability and safety before its further use.
•
Watch the power cable to avoid its contact with sharp edges and hot surfaces.
•
Do not pull the power cable, overwind or wind it over the device.
•
If O-ring was damaged, it is recommended to contact the service center to replace it.
•
WARNING! It is prohibited to use force to open the lid until the pressure will not getting lower.
•
When cooking soups, it is recommended to let off steam only when the universal cooker will get cold and the pressure control
valve will come down. To cool it faster, you can put the wet towel to the lid.
•
When letting off steam, do not move your hands or face closer to the steam outlet.
•
Do not touch the lid while cooking.
•
Do not cover the device while working.
•
Keep the inner surface of the device, pot and heating element clean.
•
To prevent burns keep your face and hands off the steam outlet and do not touch the lid while working.
•
Clean and check pressure control valve to prevent its inclusion.
•
Before cooking the pressure regulator must be closed (position CLOSE).
•
WARNING! Do not turn on the device if the lid is opened.
•
WARNING! Do not move the device while cooking and connected to mains.
•
To move the universal cooker use the body handles instead of lid handle.
•
Do not attempt to repair, adjust or replace parts in the appliance. Repair the malfunctioning appliance in the nearest service
center.
•
If the device was exposed to the temperature below 0ºC, it is necessary to leave it indoor for not less than 2 hours before
turning on.
•
The manufacturer reserves the right to make insignificant alterations in the design, which do not affect the safety, operability
and performance, without notice.
INSTALLATION
•
The principle of operation is that the boiling temperature under high pressure is more than 100 º
С. By means of it, the
cooking time is reduced. Be careful when working with a universal cooker.
•
It is necessary to make sure that there are no wrapping and foreign objects inside the universal cooker.
•
Check if there are no damage to: lid; body; accessories. If any defect is detected, do not turn on the device; contact the
retailer or service center.
•
Place the device to the dry, even and heat resistant surface.
•
Do not place the device near the flammable materials, explosives and pyrophoric gases.
•
Do not place the device near the gas or electric stove, as well as the other heat sources.
•
Do not place the device very close to the wall or furniture.
•
Do not put anything to universal cooker.
•
Do not place the universal cooker in the cupboard. It is required to ensure the free space for ventilation: 20 cm from the top
and not less than 5 cm from the sides.
•
To mash the products use the wooden or plastic spoons to prevent the anti-stick coating damage.
PREPARE TO WORK
•
Clean the pot, the heating element surface and the inner surface of universal cooker.
•
Put the water and products in the pot. Do not fill the pot for more than 3/5 of its volume. When cooking the products, which
can spew in the hot water (rice, dry vegetables) or produce a foam, do not fill the cooking pot for more than a half of its
volume. At that, the total volume of products and water should be not less than 1/5 of its volume.
•
Put the pot inside.
•
Install the O-ring to the sealing pad.
•
Put the sealing pad with O-ring to the lid.
•
Rotate the sealing pad right-left to install it in the proper position.
•
Close the lid for which purpose turn it counterclockwise up to the stop in such a manner that the pointer of the lid handle
stays between the captions "CLOSE" and "OPEN".
•
The universal cooker won't work until it's opened.
