Microwave HMW 655 X

Combined functions

To start with Microwave + Grill 

function, make sure the ovenware is 
suitable both for microwaves and grill.

Aluminium Containers and Foil

Convenience foods in aluminium 

containers or aluminium foil can 
be cooked in microwave oven if the 
following instructions are observed:



Pay attention to Manufacturer’s 

instructions printed out on the packing.



Aluminium containers should 

be not higher than 3cm and must 
not contact internal chamber walls 
(minimum distance is 3cm). Aluminium 
covers should be removed.



Place aluminium container 

directly over ceramic base. When using 
a grill this container must be put on the 
earthenware plate. Never put container 
directly on the grill!



Cooking time will be longer as 

the microwaves enter food from above 
only. If you have any doubts, use nothing 
else but ovenware.



Aluminium foil can be used 

for  refl ecting  microwaves  during 

defrosting. Delicate foodstuff, such 
as poultry or ground meat, may be 
protected from overheating by covering 
their appropriate areas.



Important: Aluminium foil must 

not touch microwave walls as an 
electric arc may occur.

Covers

We recommend using glass or plastic 

covers or cling fi lm due to the following 

reasons:

1.  They  prevent  from  excessive 

evaporation of liquids (especially during 

continuous cooking);

2. Process of cooking becomes faster;
3. Food does not dry out;

4. Flavor of food keeps preserved. 

Cover should have holes to avoid any 
pressure. Plastic bags should also have 
holes. Nursery bottles and jars and other 
similar containers should be necessarily 
heated up without lids and covers as 

they can explode otherwise.
