polyethylene  bags,  used  as  packaging, 
unattended.

Attention!  Do  not  allow  children  to  play 
with  polyethylene  bags  or  packaging  film. 
Danger of suffocation!

Do  not  attempt  to  repair  the  unit  by 
yourself. Do not disassemble the unit by 
yourself,  if  any  malfunction  is  detected 
or  after  it  was  dropped,  unplug  the 
unit and contact any authorized service 
center  from  the  contact  address  list 
given  in  the  warranty  certificate  and  on 
the website www.vitek.ru.

To avoid damages, transport the unit in 
the original packaging only.

Keep  the  unit  out  of  reach  of  children 
and people with disabilities.

THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD 
USE  ONLY,  ITS  COMMERCIAL  USAGE 
AND USAGE IN PRODUCTION AREAS AND 
WORK SPACES IS PROHIBITED.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

After unit transportation or storage under 
cold  (winter)  conditions,  it  is  necessary 
to keep it for at least three hours at room 
temperature before switching on

.

Unpack  the  hair  clipper  and  remove  all 
advertising stickers that can prevent the 
unit operation.

– 

Check the unit for damages; do not use 
a damaged unit.

– 

Before  plugging  the  unit  in  make  sure 
that  the  operating  voltage  of  the  unit 
corresponds  to  the  voltage  of  your 
mains.

Battery charging

A  fully  charged  battery  provides  about 
40  minutes of continuous unit operation.

– 

Insert  the  power  adapter  (8)  jack  into 
the socket (5).

– 

Insert the power adapter into the mains 
socket,  the  indicator  (4)  “

”  will  

light up.

– 

Before  the  first  usage  of  the  unit,  fully 
charge the battery for 8 hours.

– 

After charging remove the power adapt-
er  (8)  from  the  mains  socket  and  dis-
connect the adapter cord from the unit.

Notes:

– 

The  following  charging  cycles  of  the 
battery take about 1 hour.

– 

Charge  the  battery  at  the  temperature 
from +5° C to +35° C.

– 

Never  leave  the  unit  connected  to  the 
mains unattended.

– 

If  you  haven’t  used  the  unit  for  a  long 
time (more than 2 months), charge the 
battery  fully  for  8  hours  before  using 
the unit.

Blades

– 

The  blades  are  consumables  and  they 
are  not  covered  by  the  warranty.  The 
consumer  should  check  the  condition 
of  the  cutting  edges  of  the  blades  by 
themselves,  as  the  sharpening  (polish-
ing)  of  cutting  edges  is  not  covered  by 
warranty.

Lubricating oil

– 

Before  the  first  use  check  wheth-
er  the  blades  (2)  are  lubricated,  and, 
if  necessary,  lubricate  them  with  the 
oil (10)  supplied  with  the  unit.  Keep  the 
blades (2) clean and lubricated.

Attention! Use only the lubricating oil (10) 
from  the  delivery  set.  DO  NOT  USE  veg-
etable  oil,  fat,  oil  mixed  with  any  solvents 
for  lubricating.  Solvents  will  evaporate, 
leaving thick grease that can slow down the 
motion of the adjustable blade.

Hair length adjustment

– 

Adjust  the  hair  length  from  0  to  2  mm 
by moving the adjustable blade with the 
adjuster (9).

– 

Use  the  attachment  (6)  for  cutting  hair 
length from 3 to 6 mm.

– 

Use  the  attachment  (7)  for  cutting  hair 
length from 9 to 12 mm.
