• 

Watch  over  the  batteries.  In  case  of  mechani-
cal  damages,  mishandling  or  any  defects,  for 
instance,  in  case  of  acid  leakage,  the  battery 
must  be  removed  from  the  equipment  using 
hands and clothes protection. 

• 

Avoid  contact  of  acid  with  your  skin,  eyes  etc. 
Remove  the  batteries  from  the  battery  com-
partment  if  you  are  not  going  to  use  the  unit 
for a long time;

– 

do not incinerate used batteries;

– 

do  not  discard  used  batteries  with  house-
hold waste, return them for recycling;

– 

do not disassemble the batteries;

– 

store the batteries out of the reach of children.

• 

Do not disassemble the unit by yourself, if any 
malfunction  is  detected,  remove  the  battery 
from  the  battery  compartment  and  apply  to 
any  authorized  service  center  at  the  contact 
addresses given in the warranty certificate and 
on the website www.vitek.ru.

• 

To  avoid  damages,  transport  the  unit  in  the 
original packaging only.

• 

Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of 
children and people with disabilities.

THE  UNIT  IS  INTENDED  FOR  HOUSEHOLD  USE 
ONLY,  ITS  COMMERCIAL  USAGE  AND  USAGE 
IN  PRODUCTION  AREAS  AND  WORK  SPACES 
IS PROHIBITED.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

After the unit transportation or storage at low 
temperature keep it for at least three hours at 
room temperature.

BATTERY INSTALLATION

– 

Remove  the  battery  compartment  lid  (5)  turn-
ing it counterclockwise (pic. 1).

– 

Install  an  “AAA”  battery  (not  included),  with 
positive terminal to the body (4) of the trimmer.

– 

Install the battery compartment lid (5) back to its 
place and turn it clockwise until bumping (pic.3).

USING THE TRIMMER

– 

The  attachment  (2)  is  used  for  cutting  hair  in 
the nose or ears.

– 

Remove the cap (1).

– 

Switch  the  trimmer  on  using  the  power 
switch (3).

Cutting hair in the nose

– 

Make sure that the nasal cavities are clean.

– 

Carefully  insert  the  attachment  (2)  into  the 
nostril.

– 

Do not insert the attachment (2) into the nostril 
deeper than 0.5 cm.

– 

Make  circular  movements  with  the  trimmer  to 
remove undesirable hair in the nostrils.

Cutting hair in the ears

– 

Make  sure  that  the  external  ear  canals  are 
clean and there is no cerumen in them.

– 

Carefully  insert  the  attachment  (2)  into  the 
external ear canal.

– 

To  avoid  injuries  of  the  eardrum,  do  not  insert 
the  attachment  (2)  into  the  ear  canal  deeper 
than 0.5 cm.

– 

Make  circular  movements  with  the  trimmer  to 
remove undesirable hair in the auricle.

– 

After you finish using the unit, switch the unit off 
by setting the switch (3) to the lower position.

– 

Put the protection cap (1) on the attachment (2).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

– 

Remove  the  batteries  from  the  battery  com-
partment.

– 

Wipe  the  outer  surface  of  the  unit  body  with  a 
soft, slightly damp cloth, then wipe it dry, provide 
that water does not get into the unit body (4).

– 

Do not use abrasives and solvents.

– 

Use the brush (6) to clean the attachment (2).

– 

For  better  cleaning  periodically  remove  the 
attachment (2) and rub it with alcohol.
