ATTENTION!

If the power cord is damaged, it should be 

replaced by the manufacturer, a mainte-

nance service or similar qualified person-

nel to avoid danger.

• 

Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not 

disassemble the unit by yourself, if any 

malfunction is detected or after it was 

dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any 

authorized service center from the con-

tact address list given in the warranty cer-

tificate and on the website www.vitek.ru.

• 

To avoid damages, transport the unit in the 

original package only.

• 

Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of 

reach of children and disabled persons.

THIS UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD 

USE ONLY. ITS COMMERCIAL USAGE AND 

USAGE IN PRODUCTION AREAS AND WORK 

SPACES IS PROHIBITED.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

After unit transportation or storage at low 

temperature keep it for at least three hours 

at room temperature before switching on.

– 

Unpack the unit completely and remove 

packaging materials that can prevent the 

unit operation.

– 

Check the unit for damages; do not use it 

in case of damages.

– 

Before plugging the clipper in for battery 

charging, make sure that voltage of the 

mains corresponds to the power adapter 

operating voltage.

– 

Charge the battery and lubricate the 

blade block following the recommenda-

tions below.

The hair clipper can operate only on the 

built-in battery.

Battery charging

– 

Switch the hair clipper off, setting the 

power switch (3) to the position «0».

– 

Insert the power adapter (12) cord plug 

into the connection socket (5).

– 

Place the hair clipper on a flat stable 

surface.

– 

Plug the power adapter (12) into the mains 

socket, the charging indicator (4) will light 

up.

– 

The full charging time for the accumulator 

battery is 8 hours; do not exceed it to avoid 

reducing the battery operating life.

– 

Full charging of the accumulator battery 

is enough approximately for 45 minutes of 

continuous operation.

– 

After the battery is charged, disconnect 

the power adapter (12) from the mains 

and remove the connector from the con-

nection socket (5), the charging indicator 

(4) will go out.

WARNING:

– 

To prolong the battery operating life, it 

should be discharged completely before 

each charging cycle.

– 

Do not charge the battery at temperature 

below +5°C and above +35°C.

– 

If you haven’t used the unit for a month 

or longer, charge the battery completely 

before using the hair clipper.

– 

Do not leave the unit connected to the 

mains unattended.

LUBRICATING THE BLADE BLOCK

Before using the unit for the first time remove 

the blade block (1) and lubricate it with oil (11) 

(supplied with the unit).

– 

To remove the blade block place the hair 

clipper with the blades towards you and 

press on the upper edge of the blade 

block (1) with your thumb (pic. 1).

– 

Apply the lubricating oil (11) to the junc-

tions between the fixed and moving parts 

of the blades.

– 

To install the blade block first insert its lower 

part to the installation place and then care-

fully press on the upper edge of the blade 

block (1). Make sure that the blade block (1) 

is installed and fixed properly (pic. 2).

– 

Switch the hair clipper on with the switch 

(3) and let it operate for approximately 30 

seconds to spread the oil across the rub-

bing surfaces. Switch the hair clipper off 

with the switch (3) and remove the surplus 

oil with a dry cloth or a paper towel.

Note:

– 

Lubricate the blade block (1) after every 

use of the hair clipper.
