NOSE/EAR HAIR TRIMMER

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

DEAR CUSTOMER,

Your new trimmer removes unwanted hair from nose and ears quickly and 

safely. It has an integrated light so that you never miss a hair. The detail 

attachment neatly trims sideburns. The trimmer is splash-proof and is 

therefore also suitable for use in bathrooms or other areas in which water is 

present. We hope you enjoy using your new trimmer.

This product is equipped with safety features.

Read the safety warnings carefully and only use the product as described in 

these instructions to avoid accidental injury or damage.

Keep these instructions for future reference.

If you pass this product on to someone else, remember to include these 

instructions.

INTENDED USE

This trimmer set is intended only for the purpose of removing human nose/

ear hairs and for trimming natural beards. It is not for commercial use. 

HAZARDS TO CHILDREN

•    Do not use the trimmer on children. Keep the unit out of children‘s reach.

•    Disposable and rechargeable batteries can be life-threatening if 

swallowed. Therefore, keep battery and trimmer out of children‘s reach. 

If a battery (rechargeable battery) has been swallowed, seek medical 

advice immediately.

OTHER CAUSES OF INJURY

•    Do not insert the trimmer more than 0.5cm into ear or nostril as you 

could injure your eardrum or the mucous membrane in your nose.

•    When using the trimmer, make sure the cutting head or detail attachment 

is securely fitted.

•   The battery should not be touched/changed with damp hands. 

•    Do not use the appliance on open wounds, laceration, sunburn or 

blisters.

•   Keep the trimmer away from scalp hair and eyes.

CAUTION - DAMAGE TO THE UNIT

•    When cleaning the unit, make sure the battery cover is firmly closed.

•    Never immerse the unit in water.

INSERTING BATTERY

1)   Before using the appliance, please insert the 1.5V battery (not included), 

type LR6/AA, into the battery compartment with the correct polarity.

WARNINGS RELATING TO THE USE OF BATTERIES

•   Batteries must be inserted taking care to match the polarities shown. 

Make sure that the (+) and (-) terminals are placed in the right direction.

•  Never use batteries that show signs of electrolyte leaks or cracking.

•  Never dispose of used batteries in an open fire.

•  Keep batteries out of reach of children.

•  Never recharge disposable batteries.

•  Never short circuit battery terminals.

•  Always remove used batteries from the appliance case.

•  Do not try to open the batteries.

•   Do not mix up different kind of batteries or new and already used 

batteries together.

•  Only use batteries of the recommended or equivalent type.

•   Remove batteries from the appliance before disposing of it at the end of 

its service life. 

2)   To insert or change the battery, turn the lower half of the housing and 

pull it off downwards. After inserting/changing the battery, replace the 

housing.

3)   Please make sure that the appliance is properly reassembled before 

starting to use it.

USE

NOSE/EAR HAIR TRIMMER: 

Remove the protective cap on the trimmer and push the on/off switch 

upwards. Now the cutter rotates and you can start trimming hairs in nose 

and ear. The integrated light will be helpful.

CLEANING:

Switch the appliance off. For cleaning, turn to remove the Nose/Ear Hair 

Trimmer attachment cutting unit and rinse it thoroughly under running water.

Do not wet the appliance unit. The appliance itself should be cleaned with 

a dry cloth only.

After complete drying. Replace the cutting units as well as the protective 

cap.

BEARD TRIMMER:

Take the nose/ear hair trimmer attachment off the appliance by turning it.

The beard trimmer attachment is also inserted by turning it whist pressing 

on the housing at the same time. Make sure, before attaching it, that the 

cutting unit points to the right by about a quarter turn so that the two inner 

ridges fit properly into the guide grooves on the upper housing.

The beard trimmer is particularly suitable for use on areas that are difficult 

to reach and to shorten or shape (smaller) beards.

CLEANING:

Switch the appliance off and remove the beard trimmer attachment from the 

appliance by turning it. Remove any hairs left in the cutting head using the 

cleaning brush provided then rinse it thoroughly under running water.
