12. STATION PRESET BUTTONS (M1-M6) 

Press these buttons briefly to recall the stored stations in the selected band. It is a station is
selected by manual tuning, seek or scan operations by pressing one of these buttons until a
beep is heard, the selected station will be stored into that memory.

13. TUNING / SEARCH UP AND TUNING / SEARCH DOWN BUTTONS 

When  these  buttons  are  pressed  briefly,  they  operate  in  Search  tuning  mode,  the  radio  will
tune  up  or  down  to  the  next  station  and  remain  on  the  frequency,  to  store  the  station  into
memory, press the desired preset station button until beep sound is heard, this indicate that
the  station  has  been  stored  into  memory.  When  these  buttons  are  pressed  for  more  than  1
second,  they  operate  as  Manual  Tune  Up/Down  buttons,  under  this  mode,  the  tuning  fre-
quency  will  advance  up  or  down  rapidly  when  the  button  Is  pressed.  If  the  keys  are  not
pressed for 3 seconds, they will return to Search mode.

14. SCAN BUTTON

When this button is pressed, the radio will start to search for radio stations.

15. FM ST/MONO BUTTON

Press this button to select FM stereo or mono reception mode.

16. LOCAL BUTTON

This key is used to control the sensitivity of the tuner during searching of station. After power
on, Local mode is off. Turn on Local mode to receive only the strongest stations.
After pressing the button, the current state is displayed on the Display for a few seconds.

17. AMS (AUTO MEMORY STORE / PRESET SCAN) BUTTON

When this button is pressed briefly, the radio will enter Preset Scan mode, It will scan all the
preset  stations  in  the  FM  band  and  stay  on  the  channel  for  5  seconds  with  mute  released,
press the button again to stop scanning.
When  this  button  is  pressed  for  more  than  1  second,  the  radio  will  enter  Auto  Store  mode,
(twill scan the selected band and automatically store six strongest stations into memories.

18. RESET BUTTON

If the unit operates abnormally or displays wrong letters on the Display, press the reset but-
ton for more than 2 seconds to reset the microprocessor. The Reset button is located behind
the detachable panel.

CD OPERATIONS

LOADING THE CD

Press the Panel Release Button to slide down the front panel, insert the disc through CD slot,
the disc will be automatically loaded and playback will also start.

19. CD EJECT BUTTON

Press this button to eject the CD from the unit.

PAUSE BUTTON

Press  this  button  under  CD  play  mode  will  pause  the  playing  CD  until  the  button  is  press
again.
