Then press the EIN/AUS button. The red LED comes on.
The machine switches on at the set time.
The unit switches itself off automatically about two hours after the brewing. Both
LEDs are then off.
Aroma Intensification
The appliance is equipped with an aroma intensification system for 1-3 cups of cof-
fee. In order to make the most of the coffee powder for 1-3 cups of coffee, the
brewing time can be extended by activating the aroma intensification mode.
Turn on the appliance. Press the AROMA switch. The aroma intensification mode is
functioning when the LED is lit. The aroma intensification mode is shut off automati-
cally after approximately 5 minutes.
Descaling
Descaling is necessary when the time needed to prepare coffee becomes consider-
ably longer.
Only commercially available descaling products based on citric acid should be
used.
Cleaning
Before cleaning the machine you should always remove the mains lead and wait
until the machine has cooled down. The machine should only be cleaned with a
slightly damp cloth. Do not use any strong detergents or solvents for cleaning. The
coffee pot and the filter pad should be cleaned by rinsing in cold water.
This appliance conforms with the CE directives for radio interference suppression
and low-voltage safety and has been built to meet current safety requirements.

Warranty
We undertake to guarantee the appliance sold by our company for 24 months as of
the date of purchase (cash receipt).
During the life of the warranty we shall provide for the repair or replacement of the
appliance owing to material or manufacturing defects absolutely free of charge.
Proof for the warranty is provided by the purchase document. The replacement and
repair will not be performed free of charge without this proof of purchase.
Should the warranty be valid, please consign the complete appliance in its original
packing together with the cash receipt to your local dealer.
