5 Overload and automatic shutdown

Your UPS is equipped with a system to measure the power delivered at the outlet; when this exceeds 

the set thresholds, the protection and relative signals are activated; shutdown is automatic with a 

delay in relation to the size of the overload.

Under the line mode the green led will be light. If the overload is 100% ± 10%; UPS will shutdown 

after 5 minutes and go to fault mode. If the overload is 110% ± 10%; UPS will shutdown immediately 

and go to fault mode.

Under the battery mode the red led will be flashed. 

If the overload is 100% ± 10%; UPS will be shutdown after 5 second and go to fault mode.

If the overload is 110% ± 10%; UPS will shutdown immediately and go to fault mode.

Self test

Automatic self text is executed each time the UPS is switched on, to provide a reliable operation.

Battery Protection

Battery protection: with the mains on, press the ON button for at least 3 seconds to perform the 

battery test; if the batteries are working correctly, the UPS will switch to battery operation for 

10 seconds, and then return to mains operation. In case of batteries below the minimum charge 

level the battery LED will flash for 5 seconds, if there are exhausted batteries or batteries needing 

replacing the battery LED will stay on.

Buzzer silencing

The buzzer can be silenced by pressing the ON button for 1 second while the UPS is battery 

operated; if no alarm situations are present the buzzer will stay off.

DC start capability

The UPS can be switched on in DC mode (battery operation).

UPS power supplied outlets

This is a line interactive UPS equipped with AVR, that allows to feed the load with a stabilized 

output voltage even when mains floats.

Electrical protection

Automatic swith off upon short circuit.

CPU microprocessor control

Green function: if battery is discharging under no load, UPS will shut down automatically to save 

battery life.
