Plug-in Equipment

Plug your equipment to Battery Backup Outlets on the rear panel of the UPS. 

NOTE: Make sure that the UPS is powered on to protect all important devices from data loss during 

power failure.

CAUTION: NEVER connect a laser printer or scanner to the battery backup outlets of UPS. 

The equipment may draw significantly power to overload the UPS.

Connect Communication Port and Install Software (Optional)

Connect one end of the USB cable to PC and the other to the USB port at the rear of the UPS. 

In order to monitor the UPS parameters and manage the automatic shutdown of the computer 

powered by the UPS itself, it is possible to download the UPS Communicator software (Windows 

only) from the website http://www.ups.legrand.com in the software section.

For additional information, download and read the UPS Communicator manual on the website.

Operations & Functions

1 - 

Turn On the UPS:  press the power switch lightly. Then, the LED will light up.

2 - 

Turn Off the UPS:  press the power switch again. Then, the LED will go off.

3 - 

Cold Start: when the UPS is off and there is no power utility, it's still possible to turn on the UPS 

unit to power the loads.
