C l e a n i n g   a n d   u s e r   m a i n t e n a n c e   s h a l l   n o t   b e 

made  by  children  unless  they  are  older  than  8  and 

supervised.

•  Keep  the  appliance  and  its  cord  out  of  reach  of 

children less than 8 years.

• Never leave the appliance unattended when in use.
•  

  Accessible  surface  temperatures  can  be  high 

when  the  appliance  is  operating.  Never  touch  the 

hot surfaces of the appliance.

•   This  appliance  is  not  intended  to  be  operated  by 

means  of  an  external  timer  or  separate  remote-

control system.

• Fully  unwind  the  power  cord  before  plugging  in  the 

appliance.

•  If  the  power  supply  cord  is  damaged,  it  must  be 

r e p l a c e d   by   t h e   m a n u fa c t u r e r   o r   i t s   a f te r   s a l e s 

service in order to avoid any danger.

•  Do  not  use  an  extension  lead.  If  you  accept  liability 

for  doing  so,  only  use  an  extension  lead  which  is  in 

good condition, has a plug with an earth connection 

and  is  suited  to  the  power  rating  of  the  appliance. 

Take  all  necessary  precautions  to  prevent  anyone 

tripping over an extension cord.

•  Always plug the appliance into an earthed socket.

•  M a k e   s u r e   t h a t   t h e   e l e c t r i c   p o w e r   s u p p l y   i s 

c o m p a t i b l e   w i t h   t h e   p o we r   ra t i n g   a n d   vo l ta g e 

indicated on the bottom of the appliance.

•  Use  a  sponge,  hot  water  and  washing  up  liquid  to 

clean the cooking plates.

•  Never immerse the appliance, its power cord or plug 

in water or any other liquid.
