Start and stop of engine (electric start) 

REMEMBER: Always check engine oil before start! 

 
Fill the engine with 0,6 litre SAE-30 oil the first time. 
Oil level must be between min. and. max on the oil stick. Refill if necessary.  
 
Use only unleaded Octane 95 fuel in the engine.  
Never fill up the tank completely. 
 
This model is equipped with electric start, which means it  
can be started with a key. 
You don’t have to pull the start cord, as usually done. 
 

Charge the battery before use 

Before the electric start function is used, the battery must be  
charged for 12 hours. Disconnect the wire between the  
battery and handle, and connect it with the included charger  
plug and put it for charging. 
 

The very first time the engine is started, it is recommended to use the start cord. 

Because the engine is brand new, it can be hard for the electric motor to start the 

engine, as gasoline and oil needs come into the system first.  

Same procedure is recommended for first start in every new season. 

Procedure for start with key: 

1)   Pump the primer (A) according to the scheme below: 

(the very first time, it might be necessary to pump more times) 

 
 
 
 
2)  Set the throttle control to maximum 
3)  Pull the front engine-brake handle (B) towards the  

main handle 

4)  Turn the start key until the engine starts 
5)  If necessary, reduce the throttle a bit after engine starts. 

Above procedure can also be followed when using the  
start cord. Let the start cord return carefully to the engine  
(don’t let go). 
 
Pull the handle (C) up to activate the self-propelling  
function. 
 
The handle (B) must be pulled towards the main  
handle while using the machine. When the handle is  
released, the engine (and the knife) stops in 3 seconds.
