GASOLINE LAWN MOWER
GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
a) Do not turn on the engine in an enclosed area where dangerous amounts of carbon monoxide can accu-
mulate.
b) Work only in daylight or good artificial light.
c) If possible, avoid using lawn mowers on wet grass.
d) On slopes, always ensure that the mower is in a stable position.
e) Move in steps, do not run with the device.
f) Mow the lawn mower only across the slope, never up and down.
g) Be extremely careful when changing the direction of the slope.
h) Do not mowing on too scarp slopes.
i) Be extremely careful when reversing or pulling the mower towards you.
j) To tilt the device for transporting through a non-grassy area, as well as for transporting to and from the
operating area, stop the rotating blades.
k) Do not use a lawn mower with damaged shields, or if safety devices such as safety fences and / or grass
collectors are not installed.
l) Do not change the setting of the engine regulator and do not exceed the allowable engine speed. Using the
engine with increased speed may increase the injury risk.
m) Disconnect all blades and drive sleeves before starting the engine.
n) Start or power on the engine in accordance with the manufacturer's manuals. Keep your feet at a safe
distance from the blades.
o) Do not tilt the lawn mower when powering on or starting the engine if it is not required to get started. In
this case, do not tilt the device more than necessary, and lift the far part relative to the operator.
p) Do not start the engine while standing in front of the discharge chute.
q) Keep hands and feet away from rotating parts. Never stand near the outlet.
r) Never lift or carry the machine with the engine running.
s) Power off the engine and disconnect the wire from the ignition spark plug. Make sure all moving parts are
completely have stopped. If you have a key, remove it:
- before cleaning the clogging and cleaning the discharge chute;
- before checking, cleaning or maintaining the mower;
- after a collision with a foreign object. Before restarting and operating, inspect the lawn mower for damage
and repair as necessary;
- if the machine vibrates heavily (check immediately).
t) Power off the engine and disconnect the wire from the ignition spark plug. Make sure all moving parts are
completely stopped.
If you have a key, remove it:
- when move away from the lawn mower;
- before refueling.
u) Reduce the throttle angle during engine shutdown and, if the engine is equipped with a lock valve, turn
off the fuel supply at the end of mowing.
v) Take care when using the lawn mower near falls, ditches or embankments.
- Never use the device if you are tired, sick or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- When operating with the device, always wear strong non-slip shoes and suitable clothing.
- If the device is used for a long time or is improperly controlled or maintained, there may be a health
problem due to vibration.
w) Exhaust and fuel vapor are harmful. Do not use the device in potentially explosive areas.
x) Never use the lawn mower in poor weather conditions, such as rain or thunder.
y) Do not change any fixed settings to control the engine speed.
