The roller brackets

 should be set in one of three

positions according to the type of lawn: 

I

 for high

range for bumpy lawns, 

II

 for medium range for av-

erage lawns and 

III

 fore low range for reasonably

flat lawns. You should only need to make this adjust-
ment once, thereafter use the „Fine“ adjustment to
cut longer or shorter grass.

To change the height of cut:

1. Remove the wingnut

 and bolt.

2. Reposition the bolt for required height of cut.

3. Refit wingnut

Slacken wing nut

 on both sides of the mower.

Move both roller brackets

 equally to the required

height of cut.

For best results, place the lawnmower on the edge
of lawn, mow in a forwards direction. Reverse at the
end of the each turn, slightly overlapping the previ-
ous cut strip.

Note: To ensure long and reliable service, carry out
the following maintenance regularly.

Regularly check for obvious defects such as loose,
dislodged or damaged blades, loose fixings, and
worn or damaged components.

Check that covers and guards are undamaged and
correctly fitted. Carry out necessary maintenance or
repairs before using.

If the mower should happen to fail despite the care
taken in manufacture and testing, repair should be
carried out by an authorised customer service agent
for Bosch garden products.

For all correspondence and spare parts orders, al-
ways include the 10-digit part number from the
nameplate of the machine!

The cutting cylinder should be adjusted if the grass
is not cut cleanly and evenly.

Clean the exterior of the machine thoroughly using a
soft brush and cloth. Do not use water, solvents or
polishes. Remove all grass and debris.

Turn the machine on its side and clean the blade
area. If grass cuttings are compacted in the blade
area, remove with a wooden or plastic implement.

Store the lawnmower in a dry place. Do not place
other objects on top of the machine.

chase by invoice or delivery note).

Damage attributable to normal wear and tear, over-
load or improper handling will be excluded from the
guarantee.
