Important
• Plug your appliance into an alternating current
(~) outlet only and make sure that your house-
hold voltage corresponds to the voltage marked
on the hairdryer.
•
Do not allow the appliance to become
wet.
• Always unplug after use. Even switched off the
appliance presents a hazard when near water.
• For additional protection, it is advisable to install
a residual current device (RCD) with a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA
in the electrical circuit of your bathroom.
Ask your installer for advice.
• Care should be taken not to block the inlet and
outlet grill when the appliance is switched on.
If either grill becomes blocked, the appliance
will automatically cut out. After cooling for a few
minutes, it will switch back on automatically.
• Do not wrap the mains cord around the
appliance. Regularly check the mains cord
for wear or damage. The mains cord of
the appliance may only be replaced by an
authorised Braun Service Centre.
Unqualified repair work can lead to extreme
hazards for the user.

cleaning, remove the filter and clean it under
running water.
Using the attachments
1 Attaching the adapter (A)
• Align the markings (a), attach the adapter
to the hairdryer and turn it clockwise (b) until
it snaps into place.
• To remove the adapter, turn it anti-clockwise
and pull it off.
2 Connecting / changing the attachments (B)
• Choose an attachment (volume attachment,
brush attachment or straightening comb
attachment).
• Slide the attachment onto the adapter upwards
or downwards along the guiding grooves.
• To remove it, pull off the attachment upwards or
downwards.
3 Use
• For long-lasting styling results we recommend
that you apply a styling product (e.g. mousse)
and use the hairdryer on a low switch setting.
3.1 Volume attachment
• Using the volume attachment

, you can add
volume and root lift to your hair.
• Place the volume attachment with the fingers
against your head.
• Gently move the attachment back and forth
over a small section until the hair moves up the
fingers. Hold the attachment in place until the
hair gets dry. Continue section by section.
3.2 Brush attachment

is ideal for untangling,
slightly shaping and brushing your hair while
drying, thus leaving your hair smoother and
shinier.
3.3 Straightening comb attachment
