EPILATOR  VT-2244
The  epilator  is  intended  for  removing  hair  by 
mechanical  plucking  out.  Using  the  tweezers 
system, the hair is captured and removed along 
with  the  follicle,  which  ensures  smooth  skin  for 
about 3 weeks.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Thoroughly read through this instruction manual 
before using the unit and keep it for future refer-
ence  throughout  the  whole  operation  period. 
Use  the  unit  for  its  intended  purposes  only,  as 
specified in this manual. Mishandling of the unit 
may lead to its breakage and cause harm to the 
user or damage to property.
•  Before  connecting  the  unit  to  the  mains  for 

the first time to charge the battery, make sure 
that your home mains voltage corresponds to 
the power adapter operating voltage.

•  The power adapter cord should not:

– touch hot objects and surfaces,

– be immersed into water;

– extend over sharp furniture edges; 

– be used as a handle for carrying the unit.

•  Do not touch the power adapter cord and the 

power  adapter  body  with  wet  hands  during 
the unit operation or charging.

•  Use the unit to epilate or shave only dry hair.
•  Use  the  unit  to  epilate  or  shave  only  natural 

human hair. 

•  Never use the unit to epilate or shave artificial 

or animal hair.

•  Use  only  the  heads  (1)  or  (8)  and  the 

power adapter (6) supplied with the unit.

•  Do  not  use  the  unit  in  places  with  high 

temperature  and  relative  humidity  more 
than 80%.

•  Do not use the unit outdoors.
•  Charge  the  battery  at  the  temperature  from 

+5 °C to +35 °C.

•  Do  not  use  the  unit  if  the  attachment  or  the 

blades are damaged.

ATTENTION! Keep the unit dry. Never immerse 
the unit into water or any other liquids. 
•  Before operation make sure that the head (1) 

or (8) is installed correctly.

•  Switch the unit off before installing or remov-

ing the head (1) or (8).

•  During  the  battery  charging  do  not  use  the 

unit near a bath/shower and containers filled 
with water.

•  If  the  unit  is  dropped  into  water,  unplug  the 

power  adapter  immediately,  and  only  then 
take the unit out of the water.

•  Always keep the heads (1) and (8) clean.
•  After every use clean the head (1) or (8) from 

removed hair with a brush. 

•  Never leave the operating unit unattended.
•  Switch  the  unit  off  during  intervals  in  opera-

tion or when you are not using it.

•  Do  not  allow  children  to  touch  the  power 

adapter  body  while  the  battery  is  being 
charged.

•  Do not allow children to use the unit as a toy.
•  This  unit  is  not  intended  for  usage  by  chil-

dren.

•  During the unit operation and breaks between 

operation cycles, place the unit out of reach of 
children and people with disabilities.

•  The  unit  is  not  intended  to  be  used  by 

people with physical, sensory or mental dis-
abilities  (including  children)  or  by  persons 
lacking  experience  or  knowledge  if  they  are 
not  under  supervision  of  a  person  who  is 
responsible  for  their  safety  or  if  they  are 
not  instructed  by  this  person  on  the  usage 
of the unit.

•  Close supervision is necessary when children 

or  disabled  persons  are  near  the  operat-
ing unit.

•  For child safety reasons do not leave polyeth-

ylene bags used as packaging unattended.

Attention!  Do  not  allow  children  to  play  with 
polyethylene  bags  or  packaging  film.  Danger 
of suffocation!
•  Do  not  repair  the  unit  by  yourself.  Do  not 

disassemble the unit by yourself, if any mal-
function is detected or after it was dropped, 
unplug  the  unit  and  apply  to  any  authorized 
service  center  from  the  contact  address  list 
given  in  the  warranty  certificate  and  on  the 
website www.vitek.ru.

•  To  avoid  damages,  transport  the  unit  in  the 

original package only.

•  Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach 

of children and disabled persons.

THIS UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE 
ONLY.  ITS  COMMERCIAL  USAGE  AND  USAGE 
IN  PRODUCTION  AREAS  AND  WORK  SPACES 
IS PROHIBITED.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After  unit  transportation  or  storage  at  low 
temperature keep it for at least three hours 
at room temperature before switching on.

– Unpack  the  unit  completely,  remove  any 

package  materials  and  advertising  stickers 
that prevent the unit operation.

– Check  the  unit  for  damages;  do  not  use  a 

damaged unit.

– Before  plugging  the  epilator  in  for  battery 

charging,  make  sure  that  voltage  of  the 
mains  corresponds  to  the  power  adapter 
operating voltage.

– Charge the battery following the recommen-

dations below.

Battery charging 

– Insert  the  power  adapter  (6)  jack  into  the 

socket on the epilator body (pic. 2). 

– Place the epilator on a flat stable surface.

– Plug  the  power  adapter  (6)  plug  into  the 

mains  socket,  the  light  indicator  (5)  will 
light up red.

– Full  charging  of  the  rechargeable  battery 

takes at least 150 minutes.

– Full  charging  of  the  accumulator  battery 

is  enough  approximately  for  50  minutes  of 
continuous operation.

– Do not charge the unit longer than 24 hours. 

Make  sure  that  the  unit  is  switched  off  dur-
ing charging.

– After  the  battery  is  charged,  unplug  the 

power  adapter  (6)  and  disconnect  the  jack 
from the socket.

Warning:

– Do  not  charge  the  battery  at  temperature 

below +5 °C and above +35 °C.

– If  you  have  not  used  the  unit  for  a  month  or 

longer, charge the battery completely before 
using the epilator.

– Do not leave the unit connected to the mains 

unattended.

Note: the unit can operate both in autonomous 
mode and from the mains.

USING THE EPILATOR
Warning:

– Do not use the unit if you have skin irritation, 

varicose  veins,  eruptions,  moles  (with  hair) 
or  open  wounds,  see  your  doctor  before 
using  the  unit.  People  with  reduced  immu-
nity  or  people  with  diabetes,  hemophilia,  or 
immunodeficiency  should  also  consult  with 
their doctor first.

– After  first  treatment  your  skin  may  become 

slightly red and irritated. It is absolutely nor-
mal and will go away soon. With constant use 
of the epilator your skin will get used to epila-
tion, the irritation will reduce and the hair will 
become thinner and softer and grow less. 

Attention!  If  the  irritation  after  the  proce-
dure  does  not  go  away  within  three  days, 
see your doctor. 

– Always  check  the  removable  head  (1  or  8) 

before using the unit. If the removable head 
(1  or  8)  is  not  fixed,  you  can  traumatize  or 
damage treated skin. 

•  The  epilator  is  equipped  with  special  light-

ing  (9)  which  allows  to  see  thin  hairs  or  skin 
better.  It  is  very  convenient  for  bikini  epila-
tion.  The  illumination  (9)  will  glow  until  the 
unit is switched off. 

EPILATION
•  The  best  epilation  results  are  achieved  if 

your skin is dry. 

•  Switch  the  epilator  on  by  pressing  the 

switch (3) «

».

•  Place  the  unit  with  the  removable  head  (1  or 

8)  installed  perpendicular  to  your  skin  in  the 
direction where you’re going to move the unit.

•  Select the speed mode:

– one pressing of the button (3) 

 - speed 

«1» for careful epilation;

– two pressings of the button (3) 

 - speed 

«2» for effective epilation.

•  Always  stretch  your  skin  during  epilation. 

Make  sure  that  the  epilating  head  (1)  is  in 
close contact with the skin.

•  Slowly move the unit across your skin against 

the hair growth direction. 

•  Perform the bikini epilation (pic. 6).
•  Perform the armpits epilation (pic. 5).
•  Perform the legs epilation (pic. 7), the facial 

epilation (pic. 4).

•  After epilation switch the unit off by pressing 

the power switch (3) «

•  Clean the removable head (1) with the clean-

ing brush (10) after every use.

SHAVING
The shaving head (8) is designed for fast shaving 
of legs, armpits and bikini line, trimming and cut-
ting hair to a length of 5 mm. Use the unit with the 
shaving head only on dry skin and set the speed 
mode «2» by pressing the button (3) 

 twice.

•  Clean the removable head (8) with the clean-

ing brush (10) after every use of the unit.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

– Switch the epilator off after use.

– Remove the installed head (1 or 8).

– To  remove  the  epilating  head  (1),  press  on 

the buttons on the sides of the epilator body 
and  remove  the  protective  cover  (2).  Then 
move the head (1) pressing the unlock button 
(7) (pic. 3 and 8), then lift the rear part of the 
head and remove it.

– Clean the head (1) off hair with the brush (10). 

– Insert the head (1) until clicking (pic. 1 and 9).  

Place the protective cover (2) on top. 

– To  remove  the  shaving  head  (8),  press  on 

the buttons on the sides of the epilator body. 

– You  can  wash  the  heads  (1  and  8)  under  a 

water jet.

– Clean  the  epilator  body  with  a  soft,  slightly 

damp cloth, and then wipe it dry.

– Never immerse the epilator, the power adapt-

er (6) and the power adapter cord into water 
or any other liquids.

– Never use solvents or abrasives to clean the 

epilator and the heads (1 and 8).

STORAGE

– Clean  the  unit  before  taking  it  away  for 

storage.

– Keep  the  unit  in  a  dry  cool  place  away  from 

children and disabled persons.

the unit is subject to mandatory collection and 
consequent disposal in the prescribed manner. 
For  further  information  about  recycling  of  this 
product  apply  to  a  local  municipal  administra-
tion, a disposal service or to the shop where you 
purchased this product.

The manufacturer preserves the right to change 
design,  structure  and  specifications  not  affect-
ing general principles of the unit operation with-
out a preliminary notification due to which insig-
nificant  differences  between  the  manual  and 
product  may  be  observed.  If  the  user  reveals 
such differences, please report them via e-mail 
info@vitek.ru for receipt of an updated manual.
