PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Designated use
This hedge trimmer is exclusively intended for
trimming hedges, shrubs and bushes in domestic
gardening applications.
Any use not in accordance with this designated
use shall be regarded as misuse. The manufac-
turer cannot be held liable for damage resulting
from this.
Possible misuse
The safety devices are not allowed to be re-
moved or defeated, e.g. by attaching the swit-
ching buttons to the grip bars
Do not use the machine in rainy weather.
Do not use the machine for trimming wet
hedges and bushes
CAUTION!
The machine is not allowed to be used in
commercial applications.
Safety and protective devices
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Do not deactivate safety and protective
devices.
Overload protection
CAUTION!
Remove the battery from the machine
before carrying out any work on the
blade.
The machine detects when the blade has been
blocked by cutting excessively thick material or a
hard objects; it switches off automatically to pro-
tect the motor.
1. Remove the blockage from the blade.
2. Wait approx. 5 seconds.
3. Switch the machine back on.
Hand guard
CAUTION!
Risk of injury if the hand guard is not fit-
ted!
Never start operating the machine wi-
thout the hand guard.
Two-hand operation
The hedge trimmer can only be operated with two
hands at the same time.
