Activating or deactivating the pressure sensor

Place the handle, with a brush head attached, in
the plugged-in charger.

Pressure sensor is enabled by holding the
mode/intensity button and by pressing the power
button twice while on a charger. The handle will
beep twice to confirm it is enabled.

Your Philips Sonicare is equipped with a smart feature
that tracks the wear of your brush head. Depending
on the pressure you apply and the amount of time
used, the brush head replacement reminder light
reminds you to change your brush head. It is
important to change your brush head in time in order
to guarantee the best cleaning & care of your teeth.
When the amber brush head replacement light starts
blinking, you should replace your brush head.

The BrushPacer is an interval timer that has a short
beep and pause to remind you to brush the different
sections of your mouth. Depending on the brushing
mode you have selected (see 'Brushing modes'), the
BrushPacer beeps at different intervals during the
brushing cycle.
