Place the handle vertically on the charging platform (the raised
surface of the charger (Fig. 6)).
- The charging pad beeps when the toothbrush is correctly

placed onto the charging platform.

Note: There may be a delay for the charging pad to beep while the

charging pad synchronizes with the handle.
- While the toothbrush is charging, the charging indicator flashes

white on the charging pad.

When the toothbrush is fully charged, the charging indicator lights
up solid white (Fig. 7).

If the charging indicator flashes red, that indicates detection of a
foreign object or a communication error between the handle and
charging pad.
- If this occurs remove any foreign objects from the charging pad

and/or try removing and replacing the handle on the charging
pad.

Note: It takes approximately 12 hours to ensure battery is fully

charged. Charging times may vary if alternative wall adapters are

used.

This charger is designed to properly charge only one handle at a time.
Only the handle provided in this box should be used with this
charging system.

This charger is not compatible with other models of Philips
Sonicare.

Do not place metallic objects on the charging pad as handle charging
may be affected and may cause the metallic object to overheat.

Battery status (when handle is not on charger)

When removing the Philips Sonicare from the charging pad or after a
brushing session, a battery light at the bottom of the toothbrush will
indicate the status of the battery life.
- Solid green LED: Between 2-3 weeks of brushing sessions left
- Flashing green LED: Approximately 1 week of brushing sessions

left
