ELECTRIC KETTLE

We  congratulate  you  on  having 

bought  the  device  under  t rade  

name  “Saturn”.  We  are  sure  that 

our  devices  will  become  fa ithful 

and  reliable  assistance  in  your 

housekeeping.

Avoid 

extreme 

tempe rature  

changes. 

Rapid 

temperature 

change  (e.g.  when  the  unit  is 

moved  from  freezing  temperature  

to  a  warm  room)  may  cause  con-

densation  inside  the  unit  and  a 

malfunction  when  it  is  switched 

on.  In  this  case  leave  the  unit  at  

room  temperature   for  at  least  1. 5 

hours  before  switching  it   on.If  the 

unit  has  been  in  transit,  leave  it  

indoors  for  at  least  1. 5  hours  be-

fore starting operation.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Before  connecting  the  kettle  to 

the power supply, check that the voltage 

indicated  on  the  appliance  (underside 

the  kettle  &  base)  corresponds  with  the 

voltage in your home. 

- 

Do  not  let  the  cord  hang  over 

the edge of a table or counter or touch a 

hot surface. 

- 

Do  not  place  on  or  near  a  hot 

gas  or  electric  burner  or  in  a  heated 

oven. 

- 

Do  not  operate  the  appliance 

without anything in it to avoid damaging 

the heat elements. 

- 

Ensure  that  the  kettle  is  used 

on a firm and flat surface out of reach of 

children,  this  will  prevent  the  kettle 

from  overturning  and  prevent  damage 

or injury. 

- 

To  protect  against  a  fire,  elec-

tric shock  or  personal  injury,  do  not  im-

merse  cord,  electric  plugs  or  kettle  in 

water or other liquids. 

- 

While  water  is  boiling,  or  just 

after  the  water  has  finished  boiling, 

avoid  contacting  with  steam  from  the 

spout. 

- 

Always  pour  the  boiling  water 

slowly  and  carefully,  do  not  tip  the  ket-

tle too fast. 

- 

Be  careful  of  refilling  when  the 

kettle is hot. 

- 

Close  supervision  is  necessary 

when  any  appliance  is  used  by  or  near 

children. 

- 

Do  not  touch  the  hot  surface. 

Use the handle or the button. 

- 

The  attached  base  can  not  be 

used for other than intended use. 

- 

Extreme  caution  when  moving 

an appliance containing hot water. 

- 

The  appliance  is  not  a  toy.  Do 

not let the children play it. 

- 

The  kettle  is  for  household  use 

only. Do not use outdoors. 

- 

The  use  of  accessories,  which 

are  not  recommended  by  the  manufac-

turer,  may  result  in  fire,  electric  shock 

or personal injury.

Unplug  the kettle  from  the  out-

let when not in use and before cleaning. 

Allow  the  kettle  to  cool  before  putting 

on  or  taking  off  parts,  and  before  clean-

ing the appliance.

To  disconnect,  turn  any  control 

to  “off,”  then  remove  plug  from  wall 

outlet. 

- 

If  the  supply  cord  is  damaged, 

it must be replaced by the manufacturer 

or  its  service  agent  or  a  similarly  quali-

fied person in order to avoid a hazard. 

- 

This  appliance  incorporated 

with a grounded plug. Please ensure the 

wall outlet in your house is well earthed. 

- 

Always  ensure  the  lid  is  closed 

and  do  not  lift  it  while  the  water  is  boil-

ing.  Scalding  may  occur  if  the  lid  is  re-

moved during the brewing cycles.

Do  not  use  the  appliance  for 

other than intended use.

The  kettle  is  only  to  be  used 

with the stand provided.

If  the  kettle  is  overfilled,  boil-

ing water may spill out.

with  reduced  physical,  sensory  or  men-

tal  capabilities,  or  lack  of  experience 

and  knowledge,  unless  they  have  been 

given  supervision  or  instruction  con-
