A mixture of 0.5 litres of water to two tablespoons of vinegar essence is suitable.

Pour the descaler in.

Switch the appliance on and let the solution reach boiling point.

Leave it to take effect for a short period. 

-

To clean the container after descaling, rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Do not pour descalers down enamel-coated sinks. 

General cleaning and care 

● Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has 
cooled down completely. 
● To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the kettle and the base with water and do 
not immerse them in water. Do not clean under running water. 
● For cleaning, a slightly damp, lint-free cloth may be used. 
● Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning solutions, and do not use hard brushes for 
cleaning. 

Disposal 

Do not dispose of old or defective appliances in domestic garbage; this should only be 
done through public collection points. 

Remarks

The instructions for cordless kettles shall state that the kettle is only to be used with the 
stand provided.
