Battery installation

1. Slide the battery compartment to open lid from the back of the unit.

2. Insert three «AAA» size alkaline batteries with correct polarity as indicated. 
3. Replace the battery compartment lid.
4.  Change the batteries when the alcohol tester doesn’t have enough power to turn on or you see 

«LO» message on the screen. Change the batteries only on the new one, which were not used 
before and change the both batteries at once. During the long time storage without using the 
device, don’t keep the batteries inside.

5.  Open the mouthpieces compartment, by pulling it, take out the mouthpiece and put it in the 

hole (1) from the left or right side.

How to use the alcohol tester

Warming up the censor.

1.  Press and hold the power button (3) to turn on the alcohol tester during 1 sec, after that you will 

hear the sound signal and the LCD display will turn on. 

2.  The unit enters into warm-up mode. «Warm up» words will be shown on the display and it starts 

count down from 15 to 00.

Note:

* It always has a large number of gas & impurity adsorbed on the surface of alcohol sensor, when 
first time taking out the tester from the packaging, or after long time no using for the tester, it 
need more time for cleaning and warm up the sensor, you should repress the power button and 
retry several times if possible. If the alcohol tester was not in use for a long time, or the sensor is 
dirty, the warming up process might start again automatically.

Measurement

1.  The “Blow” symbol is displayed when warm-up is succeeding, and the 10 to 00 countdown is 

started that indicate the tester is in testing mode. After finishing of the warm-up process the 
display will show “Blow”

Blow into the breath inhaler for 10 seconds with normal power after a deep inhalation, till you 
don’t hear the sound signal.
Read the test result from the alcohol tester LCD. After testing you will hear the beep signal and 
results of the test will be shown on the LCD.

2. There are 3 levels of the alcohol concentration shown on the monitor:

- Less than 0.2 ppm
- More than 0.2 ppm. The “Caution” symbol is displayed if the alcohol concentration is in this range.
- More than 0.5 ppm. The “Danger” Symbol will be displayed.

3.  Results will be shown on the monitor during 10 sec. You can check the results of the 

measurements in other units by pressing the power button.

Note

If you didn’t blow into the breath inhaler during when the tester was in the testing mode, than LCD 
screen will show 0.
To obtain more accurate result, manufacturer recommends you to check repeatedly 2 or 3 times 
and also to follow the instructionis for measurement not to drink/eat/smoke during 20 minutes.
Don’t use the alcohol tester if there is a strong wind or there is dust.
If the cigarette smoke or saliva will fall on tester, it might cause the damage of the alcohol sensor.
Keep the alcohol tester in a dry and clean place at a temperature -5…+40ºC.
Please do not dismantle and modify this device.
