Before making any connections, make sure the MSS is unplugged. Connect the speakers using the 

included audio cable (see connection diagram in Fig. 3).

• 

To connect the MSS to a CD/MP3 player or a PC sound card, use the included 2RCA to mini-jack 

signal cable. Connect the RCA jacks of the cable to the AUDIO IN L/R jack 

f

, and insert the 

mini-jack of the cable into the Ø 3.5 mm stereo jack of your audio source.

• 

To connect the MSS to a DVD player or TV, use a 2RCA to 2RCA stereo signal cable (included). 

Insert the RCA jacks of the cable into the AUDIO IN L/R jacks 

f

, and connect the other RCA jacks 

to the audio output jacks of your TV or DVD player.

Note. The

sound is directly dependent on accuracy and reliability of the cable connec- 

tions. The left RCA jack should be inserted into the left port of the ampli

fi

er (usually white), 

and the right RCA jack should be inserted into the right port of the ampli

fi

er (usually red). 

It’s recommended that you use the cables included with the speakers.

Insert the power cord plug 

j

 (see Fig. 2) into the mains outlet.

• 

Adjust the volume level to the minimum by turning the VOLUME control knob 

e

 counterclock- 

wise until it stops.

• 

Switch on the device using the POWER switch (

i

, ON position) on the rear panel of the active 

speaker. The power LED 

a

 will light up. Then switch on your audio source. 

•

 Adjust the master volume by turning the VOLUME knob 

e

. To increase the volume, turn the   

knob clockwise, to reduce the volume, turn the knob counterclockwise.
