5. PREPARATION AND OPERATION
Speaker placement
•
Place the satellites symmetrically to the listener at the distance not less than one meter.
•
Place MSS far away from monitors and TV sets, as insignificant image distortion in these super-
sensitive devices is possible. We recommend that the subwoofer should be placed on the table.
Installation and operation guide
WARNING! All the components should be switched off before connection.
•
Connect the built-in audio cables to the audio outputs on the subwoofer rear panel (see Fig. 2).
Note that the red RCA-jack of the right satellite should be connected to the red subwoofer terminal
(AUDIO OUTPUT R) and the white RCA-jack of the left speaker – to the white subwoofer terminal (AUDIO
OUTPUT L).

The mini-jack of the stereo signal cable should be inserted into the subwoofer input connector (AUDIO
INPUT), and the other mini-jack of the cable should be plugged into a Ø 3.5 mm LINE OUT port of the
computer sound card or an audio output of your CD/MP3 player as shown above (see Fig. 2).

Plug the power cord

(Fig. 1) on the subwoofer rear panel into a mains outlet.

Set the master volume to minimum by turning VOLUME

knob counter-clockwise until it stops.

Switch on the device with POWER

switch (ON position) on the subwoofer rear panel. Power LED

will light up. Turn on your audio source.

To adjust the master volume, turn VOLUME knob

. By turning the knob clockwise you increase
volume level, while by turning it counter-clockwise you reduce it.

To adjust the subwoofer and treble levels, turn BASS knob

and TREBLE

respectively. By turning
the knob clockwise you increase the volume level, while by turning it counter-clockwise you reduce it.
Notes:
• If you don’t use the MSS for a long time, mind to switch off the system with POWER switch on
the subwoofer rear panel and unplug the power cord.
• Use the soundcard Line-Out port to improve sound quality.
